The next morning, the mansion was quieter than usual, yet something in the air felt different. A strange seriousness lingered in the atmosphere, as if the walls themselves were aware that important decisions were being made within them.

Sana had finally woken up a little earlier than the past few days. Her body still felt weak, her mind still slightly heavy, but being surrounded by her family had started to give her heart a little comfort again. The nightmares had not completely stopped, but every time she woke up frightened, her Ammi Abbu was always there, softly stroking her hair, reminding her that she was safe.
