The evening sky had begun fading into soft shades of violet and silver when the final moment of departure arrived. The old haveli, which had spent the entire day wrapped in quiet celebration, now stood surrounded by a stillness that felt heavier than silence itself. Even the wind moving through the carved balconies seemed slower, as if reluctant to rush a moment that no one present felt ready to let go of.

The courtyard, where only a few hours ago prayers had been whispered and blessings had been given, now witnessed something far more difficult — separation.
